BRg Music Works
is the creative fusion of two earlier incarnations, Broadcast
Results Group and Philadelphia Music Works.
Founded in 1972 by Andy Mark as an alternative to gainful
employment, Philadelphia Music Works has produced over
10,000 national, regional and local advertiser jingles for
radio and television.
In the early '90s, the fledgling unwired network Broadcast
Results Group was formed to produce and barter production
libraries to radio stations. Its first product was the Canary
Collection, whose ubiquitous yellow CDs can still be found
in over 2500 radio stations across the U.S.
In 1995 and 1996, Premiere
Radio Networks acquired* both companies, forming BRg
Music Works as Premiere's music library/jingle
division.
Today, as part of the Clear Channel Communications
family, BRg Music Works produces 15 different music
libraries and hundreds of jingles each year, delivering
product to thousands of radio stations as well as other media
venues such as CBS, ABC, ESPN and major motion pictures. BRg
is known for its fresh, cutting edge sound, with music as
fresh as what's currently being played on the radio.
BRg Music Works is located in a vast, state-of-the-art
clothing-optional production complex outside Philadelphia.
